U-Boat luxury watch 'is world's first black titanium model'

U-Boat has launched the world's first black titanium luxury watch, which has become the latest addition to its prestigious Classico range.

The new model features a Valjoux movement and a power reserve of 44 hours, with a super-light yet tough exterior arguably making it a watch for all occasions.

Details of the U-Boat luxury watch are detailed by Thomas, an author of a piece on Watches Blog.

Thomas writes: "U-Boat watches, just like their original namesake, are bold, aggressive and oversized, and this particular model is 52 mm and weighs in at only 179g."

Described by the writer as "truly amazing", the black titanium U-Boat watch is limited to just 200 pieces worldwide, meaning designer timepiece fans with a desire to purchase one may have to move quickly.

Earlier this month, Thomas also told how U-Boat is intending to release an updated version of its classic U-42 designer watch at the Baselworld festival in March.
