Oris Flight Timer R4118 Ltd Edition Watch (4118 pieces worldwide)

This Oris Flight Timer L/E is produced to only 41l8 pieces worldwide, all individually numbered at the back. This number is a tribute to the legendary Hurricane R4118 plane and the great service it did for her country during WW2.

In the Battle of Britain of 1940 when the German Luftwaffe tried to gain air superiority over the Royal Air Force the British Hurricane played an important role. Half a century later Peter Vacher, an engineer and pilot discovered a wreckage of an old R4118 in India and restored it; leading to the great moment recently, where the old fighter plane once again flew over England.

This exclusive pilots watch has the red Oris High-Mech automatic movement visible at the back.Itis equipped with a big front crown that sets a second time zone by turning the inner-ring on the dial. Also featured is the unique main crown and chronograph buttons on the left-hand side of the watch
