Hamiton releases Pulsonic watch to mark anniversary

Luxury watch manufacturer Hamilton has unveiled its new Pulsonic timepiece - released to mark the 40th anniversary of the digital watch.

The Pulsonic watch is a combination of the finest Swiss movement and mechanics with Hamilton's design and innovation - as well as a state-of-the-art digital display.

Pulsonic pieces can run for 82 days before requiring a recharge, which can be easily achieved thanks to straightforward access to the battery and relevant components.

Designer timepiece enthusiasts with a passion for forward-thinking and strapping the future to their wrist may wish to invest $1,495 (£958) in one of the models.

Richard Bammer of The Reporter last month revealed that Elvis Presley was a huge fan of Hamilton watches.

The journalist told how the "distinctive, shield-shaped" Ventura piece was never far from the King of Rock and Roll's wrist.

Mr Bammer was speaking at New York watch store Tourneau, which Presley is said to have visited on many occasions prior to his death in 1977.
